Boss Doyle's bar is part of the 4 star Park House Hotel. The 4 star rating of the hotel permeates into the bar where customers can expect a high level of service in somewhat plush surroundings.

Boss Doyle's is first and foremost a Hotel Bar and is very good at what it does. The quality of the food served in the Bar is equal to anything in Galway, restaurant or pub. The evening menu (Grilled Plaice is Superb) which is served until 9 is a particular favourite of ours as after 6 in the evening can be a particular dificult period to find a pub serving food.

The surroundings are sedate and it is fair to say it has somewhat of restaurant feel with tables being set up for small private dining booths as opposed to a pub mingling atmosphere.There are some TV's for live sport which are best viewed sitting at the small bar. Live music takes place at the weekends but we must admit to never having made it there yet.

Boss Doyle's is near the very top of Pub Food in Galway  but not the place for the committed party animal.
