This is not a pub crawl for the faint hearted. You will be entering pubs where you will be stared at because you are a newcomer but stick with it and some locals may even talk to you.. This crawl can be enjoyed any night of the week. Start off in McAlindens on upper Dominic Street . Be brave and venture right to the back of the Pub. If you smoke head out to the back where they have a great beer garden. After Mcalindens turn left on coming out the door and go past the Roisin Dubh turning onto William Street West. Next up is The Forge . Another old Galway favourite, The Forge is an unassuminging spot where you will often get some free food to go with your pint. The last leg of the Journey takes us to The Crane , home of Trad music. Upstairs there are nightly sessions. The Crane is one of the best music venues in Galway for music and a wonderful place to wind down the night. |
