Trad music session on tuesday & thursday nights 

Located just off Eyre Sq on Prospect Hill, The Western Bar is a welcoming pub where you will always find someone having a pint. The bar is part of the conveniently located Western Hotel (no relation to Best Western). However it has a strong local following especially for televised sports events. The bar itself is spacious with a convenient smoking area out the back and lots of seating. Food is served all day and is pretty good value.

There is live music Tuesday thru Sunday. The traditional Irish music session on Thursday starting at 9.30pm is excellent and is open to all so you never know who you might see.
