The Parlour Bar and Grill

The Parlour Bar & Grill is part of the the House Hotel. Located about 60 seconds walk from Quay street it is ideally located as a getaway from the masses or as a warm up stop. The House Hotel is a Luxury boutique hotel and the Parlour bar easily fits in with the overall feel of the Hotel. Low lighting combined with large leather couches and massive attention to detail ensure a relaxed if somewhat sophisticated ambience.

The Parlour Bar & Grill has a large focus on food and throughout the week most of its clientele are there to eat rather than drink. The bar counter area provides plenty of seating but the majority of the seating area is taking up for dining. The menu options are extensive with food being served right throughout the day. The evening menu provides good value for money although the lunch menu can be slightly over priced except for the Gourmet sandwich menu. They also serve a gourmet selection of coffee worth indulging in.

Live music changes the atmosphere every Weekend  with Saturday night usually attracting the older affluent crowd in large numbers. The small patio area outside provides a nice smoking area although the large traffic volume on the adjacent road during the day counts against it as a nice place for an outside lunch.
