Massimo

Massimo has much to recommend it. Situated in the West end of Galway City. It has a stylish spacious interior with lots of comfortable seating and even a small dance floor. There is also a very nice partially covered smoking area at the rear of the pub with the occasional barbecue in the Summer months.  However it is the small extra touches that really make this place something special. The men’s toilets feature urinals modelled after red lips and also have an unusual Dyson hand dryer. Over the last number of years the food offering has become a major part of the trade at Massimo with the pub being remodelled to provide more dining space. Food specials are usually available during midweek. Massimo also provides Airbnb rooms upstairs for those looking to stay in the lively Westend area of the City.

The crowd here caters mostly to the 20-35 age bracket. You can catch good live music here some nights. Open until 2am Thursday through Saturday it gets busy late on as people leave some of the other earlier closing pubs in the area. They have regular themed nights include latin nights.
