This was a pub, social club and community centre all rolled into one.If your Granny likes a drink then you might have found her here.

The large open plan interior had a homely feel and there was  always a friendly welcome from the bar staff. This was the sort of place where snacks like sandwiches and sausages were given out nightly and occasionally cheese which goes surprisingly well with a pint of Guinness.

The owners keep track of a large number of their regular customers birthdays and never failed to have a present ready on the big day.
